Gifting has always been one of the purest ways we show care, build trust, and strengthen our connections. From the earliest human communities to the pace of life today, exchanging something of value has never just been about the object itself, it's about the meaning behind it. But somewhere along the way, especially in the digital era, gifting lost its magic. Too often it feels transactional, impersonal, or wasteful. That's the problem we set out to solve with On Me: bringing the joy, intimacy, and thoughtfulness back into digital gifting.
At On Me, our mission is to strengthen relationships through magical gifting experiences. As cofounders, we've seen firsthand how hard it can be to bridge the gap between intention and execution. You may know exactly what someone loves, running, tennis, travel, but choosing the right gear or experience requires expertise you might not have. We believe there's a better way. With On Me, every gift is wrapped in context: photos, videos, inside jokes, and memories only you and the recipient share. And instead of guessing at the “perfect” item, you give them freedom to choose from a curated set of brands in their world, whether that's Nike and Adidas for the runner, or REI and Under Armour for the adventurer. It's not just money on a card; it's a personal story paired with real choice.
We've brought our backgrounds from places like Google, Apple, and Block to build On Me into a platform worthy of that vision. Already, we've curated more than 70 gift cards spanning categories from fitness to travel, each designed with care to make sure the recipient can find exactly what they need. But our ambition goes further. We want On Me to become the home for gifting experiences themselves. A way to send not just gear, but adventures like skydiving, horseback riding, or a round of golf that brings old friends back together. At the same time, we're addressing the two biggest flaws in traditional gift cards: fraud and waste. With fully digital access and multi-factor security, we've created a new state of the art in gift card safety. And by eliminating billions of plastic cards and unwanted gifts that pile up as landfill waste, we're pushing gifting into a more sustainable future.
For us, this work is about more than solving a product challenge, it's about honoring the role gifting has always played in human life. We believe in pursuing the ambitious, even when it feels impossible, because that's where the real change happens. And we're fortunate to have the support of our community, our partners, and our investors who share our vision. On Me is just at the beginning of this journey, but we know the opportunity ahead is enormous. We're building toward a future where every gift, no matter how digital, carries the same depth, care, and magic as the relationships it's meant to celebrate.
