The Brand Behind the First Water-Based Acrylic Paint
Liquitex introduced the first water-based acrylic artist paint in 1955, helping change the way painters work around the world. Today the brand offers acrylic paints in a wide range of consistencies, from heavy body to soft body to fluid acrylic inks and markers, plus mediums, varnishes, and spray paint. Artists love acrylics for their vibrant color, quick drying time, and versatility on canvas, paper, wood, and walls. That makes a Liquitex gift a fantastic choice for painters, muralists, students, and anyone eager to experiment with color. With a Painting On Me card, your recipient can choose the colors, consistencies, and mediums that suit their style. And if they need brushes or canvases too, the card also works at Blick Art Materials, Golden, Jerry's Artarama, and more.

Why Painters Love Liquitex
Versatility for Every Style
Liquitex makes acrylics for nearly every technique, from thick, textured impasto to smooth, flowing pours. Mediums let painters change sheen, texture, and transparency. That flexibility means artists can push their work in new directions. Many painters build their entire practice around acrylics for exactly this reason. A gift that expands their toolkit is genuinely exciting. Every new color is a new possibility.
Color Is Personal
Painters have strong opinions about pigments, from their go-to blues to the exact white they trust. Choosing colors for someone else is nearly impossible. A Painting On Me card lets your recipient pick the shades they've been eyeing. They can restock favorites or try something bold. It's a gift that keeps their palette full. And their canvases will show it.
Give Their Palette a Boost
Nothing sparks inspiration like a fresh set of colors. A Liquitex gift helps painters try new techniques, start bigger projects, and keep their studio stocked. It's perfect for art students, mural artists, hobby painters, or anyone who just signed up for a painting class. The Painting On Me card can be sent in minutes with a note cheering on their creativity. Your recipient can shop Liquitex or explore other painting brands on the card. Their next canvas is waiting.

“As a senior retiree, my thumbs don't go at Mach 1, and I don't always find apps easy to use. But I found this one very intuitive. Choosing a category like hiking makes me feel like I at least put a little effort into knowing what types of gift the recipient would want.”
